99 Cavalier Z24 Fuel Filler Hose Discontinued
Hi all, I have a 1999 Cavalier Z24 2.4L Vin T and have developed a leak in the rubber fuel hose which connects the fuel filler neck to the gas tank. GM has, for whatever reason, discontinued this part and it is not available anywhere as far as I can tell. What on earth do I do to find one? I have checked with industrial hose suppliers in my area which sell fuel hose by the inch, but I've been told they are rigid and will kink if trying to force a bend in it. The hose that I need to replace is and S-shape so these hoses are not an option. What on earth would a dealer or mechanic faced with this situation replace this hose with? At a loss....

You have to be creative. I had this problem many years ago on an old Chevy I was working on. I took the rigid fuel line and put a curved piece of metal tubing in the center of the gas line to get the needed S curve and attached the 2 pieces of hose with hose clamps. It worked great.
