why? the system seems to be working properly?

the clutch cycling system runs full blast whenever its on.

the only systems that don't use a variable displacement compressor and these systems keep the compressor engaged all the time the a.c is on.

Finally got a "warm" 78F humid day in order to check the ac. No leaks ,Center vent, around 45F. I did replace that pressure switch next to the high pressure port because the compressor clutch still seems to stay engaged even after the cabin temp is really COLD and the dial is turned up to a warmer setting.Other than that for $300 in parts & around 5 hours work and no evaporator or expansion valve problems I'm Happy

At least $700, I bought the ac gauges and vacuum for around $200 a few years back. Since then I probably used them on my cars about 5 or 6 times & loan them to friends a few times .One of my wiser investments
