Default Brake line size help needed.

Brake line size help needed.

My friend has a 2003 Cavalier LS 2.2L automatic with front wheel disk rear wheel drum.

The lines are sweating brake fluid and I want to replace them all. I would like to order everything in advance but cannot find the size with a simple search.

When I search I find it is either, 3/16 brake line with 3/8 - 24 fittings or it is 4.75 OD line with M10 x 1.0 fitting (seemingly impossible to find).

Can you tell me which it is?

Thanks for looking

Default my guess

look at the flare itself. if it is a double flare, the fitting may be standard. If the flare is iso bubble flare the fitting may be metric. Hard to say because on some models they use metric fitting for both flare types.

the fittings should be in stock at any parts store.

3/16 line will work for either fitting.
