Default Can you lift a cavalier (even just a little?)

I have an '05 cavalier. I want to get a little better clearance as I live in speedbump/pothole land, and I also want to do better in the snow. I don't want to jack it up like crazy or anything, just add a few inches. Can this be done? what do I need to search for. Also I'm on a budget so take that into consideration.

You can get bigger springs, but just like cutting them to lower your car....it will change ride quality and handling

Ok, so taller springs will do it, how do I know if the springs will fit? How do I know what the current spring size is?

I have no idea where you could get taller springs.

To be honest, its more trouble then its worth. There isn't really a high demand for lifting a Cavalier, so info on it is going to be slim to none....as well as parts.

I'm guessing you're going to have to do some custom work to it....I doubt you will be able to find bolt on parts anywhere.

There is no market for taller springs on a car, therefor they probably don't make them. In fact, I've never heard of it.

Drive slower and avoid potholes if possible.

toss on some 17" rims with a 90 profile and you'll get a good 2 inches :P Well, if the fit in the wheel well.. I dropped my cav .8" then put some 50/17's on and it's up an inch from the original height.
