Does anyone out there know how to remove the Gov Chip. im tired of my car quiting at 108 mph.

There is no "chip" to remove .... the rev limit is programmed into the car's ECM.
You wouldneed to a programmer to change the limit.

i heard that the governor device was located in the transmission. so there's no real way to get rid of it.

I recall seeing a video not too long ago on youtube where someone had modded their speedo so that once it hit 108 rather than catching, the speedo would go back to 0 and start over. I know its not much help but just something interesting I remember seeing.
