Codes P1810 & P1815 = HELP
I'm not a mechanic and don't know a whole lot about cars, so I'm hoping someone can help me out...I have a 2000 Cavalier with an 05 ECO 2.2 engine in it...The original motor was blown, so I had it replaced with this used ECO engine...The car is all back together finally and two codes keep showing up that I'm not sure how to get rid of: P1810- TFP valve position switch circuit & P1815 - Transmission range switch start in wrong range.
Does anyone know how to fix these or can tell me where I should look to fix the codes so they go away? I want to get the car inspected soon and I'm not sure if it will pass with these codes showing up...
Thanks to anyone who can help!
