Converting 91 Cavalier from TBI to MPFI, Possible?
So my 91 Cavalier came from the factory with a 2.2l OHV LM3 TBI engine. Making a measly 95hp.
The next year following the 91, the 92-93 Cavaliers came with the 2.2l OHV LN2 but with MPFI. It was bumped up to 110hp. Then of course there was SFI from 94-02. And again the power raising slightly from there.
And while I know these figures aren't significant, I do sometimes wish I could push some more power out of my 91. Plus I'm just curious if it's possible....
But has anyone heard of switching the intake and all the fuel/air delivery from the 92-93 or 94-02 Cavaliers?
Basically I'm asking if I can switch my TBI Cavalier to MPFI or SFI by transferring the intake????
