O ok, I see. I had one DRL not work and I just pulled them both out, I never knew or looked into why they were not working correctly. I see alot of chevys with only one working.

Here is the schmatic since I dug it up...

1. both drl's are not operating with car running
2. headlight's work on dim's
3. when you turn brights on drivers side goes out

so far to date have switched bulbs from side to side, bought 2 different sets to make sure didn't get a bum bulb, have replaced every fuse tied to this system. still at a loss.......

Sounds like its time to bust the voltmeter out. Start checking voltage from the light plugs on back until you find the break, short or bad part.

Hi, I am new to the Forum.
I just bought a 2001 Cavalier with ~150000 Miles in Buffalo on Friday. When I drove it home, I found out, that when I want to switch from normal beams to high beams, the lights go out. I checked the fuses and there seems only to be one for the left front light and one for the right front light, but none for low or high beams specifically?
Any hint would be greatly appreciated.
