dim headlight
2004 Cavalier w/a stock 4-cyl. engine
Drivers headlight ( lowbeam ) is dim and passenger appears normal. Swap bulbs and problem stays with headlight assembly. On a whim, wereplaced both bulbs. Driver side is still dim. High-beams appear to be working normal on both sides. What's to look at first ??

RE: dim headlight
there is a splice place where the dark blue wire for the low beams are spliced together. I would try looking there first for corrosion.
according to GM Service info it is "In the forward lamp harness approximately 75cm (29.5in) from the horn connector "
If you cannot find it, cut the blue wire at the connecter of the dim light, and run a new wire over to the connecter of the light that is good.
