i have a chevy cavalier z24 1995 engine 2.3 DOHC
the issue is that few days ago the light check engine came up and when that happened the fan went on and stays on until i turn off the car, it doesnt wait for the temperature to reach the point in order to turn on the fan.
i already checked the relays and fuses and everything is fine,
i checked the A/C and it is off
i reseted the PCM to clear the codes by removing the fuse to see if it was the problem it seemed that fixed the problem but few minutes later the light "check engine" comes up again and the fan goes on again.
another thing few days ago i took my car to the mechanic to remove the band from the A/C compressor because it was making a weird noise. do you think this could be the issue that is making the fan to go on??
any ideas what could it be?
