after changing fuel pump fuel meter showing only quarter so i filled fuel but it became zero petrol indication what is the reason is it problem with fuel sensor or anything have to change in fuel pump, i have cavalier 2000 model please reply

 

while fixing fuel pump back,did you bend the float lever? or may be its binding inside the tank,not moving freely as it should.

 

The wife's '94 does the same thing. Shows between 1/4 & empty really means it is empty! Found out the hard way
