Gas gauge stopped working
Hey all,
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am here to help my mother out. She has a 02 cav. manual. And her Gas gauge just stopped working. I have tools and can work on cars. I know nothing about chevys....I'm a VW man personally. I need to know what can possibly be causing it. Sensor? She took it to a random mechanic and they told her without looking at it....it would be around $300-$600. Times are tough right now and I would like to help her out. \
Any ideas?
Thanks!

RE: Gas gauge stopped working
I suspect this is the culprit, since now the car is stalling when trying to accelerate. It bucks...I don't think the car is getting gas. How easy is it to drop the tank and replace this?
Can someone give me a DIY on it? or point me in the right direction?
