Gas get's to FPR,but not out other side.
I have a 95 Cavalier 2.2L... My steel fuel lines in the back are pretty rotted out,and one had a steady leak.So I cut the metal line just behind the drivers door, and replaced it from there to the fuel filter..Tried to start the car,and no way..Get the odd sputter, and fire, but that's it..I did have to change the line outside while laying in the snow,so it is possible, abit of snow or dirt got in the line..But tried to make sure none did..After a few day's,I finally found, where the fuel line comes to the engine, and unthreaded the line at the FPR(Fuel Pressure Regulator)Turn the key on,& gas spray's out.at full force..But when line is attacthed to FPR,and FPR is not attatched to injector rail,no gas comes through it..I pulled it off thinking there may be ice in it..Took it inside, dried it and warmed it up..Put it back on and no change..Could it be that my FPR is no good? I just don't understand how,all I did was replace a piece of fuelline..
Any help would be great..
