Default Gauges Sticking

Hey guys,
I've been having this problem for a long time but just figured i'd ask cause i remembered. I temperature gauge on my cavalier wouldn't come down from 195 and then the next time i would start the car up, it would act as if 195 is 0 and go from there. If I leave the car alone for awhile, the gauge will go back to normal so it's not really a big deal. But I noticed it won't accurately read my gas level sometimes either because it sticks and i've come upon the occasion once or twice where my speedometer has stuck. I heard this was a recall a for GM vehicles from one guy when i was investigating this awhile back but never followed up. If I replaced the gauge cluster though would that get rid of my problem?
Thanks for any info!!!

I cant be sure 100% over the internet but it does sound like a guage cluster problem. I have had both clusters in my 03 & 04 vehicles replaced under warranty, they just had minds of thier own with inaccurate readings.
