I got the crankshaft seal replaced, and when we got the car back it was idling weird, it would start fine but when it was in low idle (stopped at red lights)it would start to jerk. We took it back to the sho where they fixed the seal and they are saying the timing chain is 2 links off. Could this have happened when they fixed the seal?

Its a 2.2l and its a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. Its a timing chain not a belt
