Key stuck - will start - replaced switch / cylinder
Hello,
My daughter's 95 Chevy Cav will start, drive and shut off okay, but the key won't come out, leaving the battery on to eventually drain. I've swapped out the cylinder, but it worked fine and a new cylinder didn't fix it. So, took that back and got an ignition switch, which I replaced. Still not the problem. I removed the cover from the shifter and could see it click into the gear when in park, and tried to clean it out the best I could. That doesn't seem to be the problem. Any other ideas?
