Passlock Issue? 99 Cavalier Bi-Fuel
Help...99 Cavalier Bi-Fuel will start for about 1 second and then die. This has happened for about a year, but seemed to do it when it was cold. We would wait for a while and try it again and it would start. Now, it will not start. I have tried reading the resistance in the passlock system and putting in resistors to match and bypass the system, but no luck. Starts for 1 second then dies. The dash lights, gauges and odometer have also flashed randomly and sporadic. I have done the relearn process several times with different resistors, but it won't stay running. We do notice a pretty strong natural gas smell after the car shuts down.
I still think it's the Passlock sytem, but the sporadic flashing of the dash lights may indicate a computer problem somewhere. I have owned the car for about 1 1/2 years and shows low miles, 59000, if that is correct as the odometer freaks out sometimes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Codes
Had the codes read today at Autozone and this is what we got: P1215 and P1629.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I start by replacing the ignition switch? Passlock Sensor? ECM? BCM? Would like to bypass the passlock system if it is possible.
Thanks!
