Hey guys,

I have a question. My reverse lights on my 2.2l 02 cavalier doesnt work at all. Im not looking to fix that. As a matter of fact what i want to do is change the reverse light to be a brake light. I know how to do all the wiring myself, but what i want is to change the clear white lense used as my reverse light and change it to a Red lense. Anyone out there know's someone who know's how to swap out the clear lense for a red. i dont care what the price may be i just want to do it.

take the tail light housing off, drip some red paint into it and swish it around


btw.. you instantly fail inspection too

 

That just sounds cheap. and i aint worry about the inspection. hell ive drove around without reverse lights for over 3 years now. I aint worry about it.

well, as far as I know.. nobody makes a fully red center tail light.

just leave it white... or get a set of toyota tails.. those are hot

 

i have a manual '02 Z24 cav and my reverse lights dont work at all either, anyway i can fix them?

There's a shortin the wiring for the Reverse light thats all i know. As far as fixing it, i have no clue. Now i know how to rewire it to become a brake light but i dont think im ganna do that.
