The shift **** busted on my 04 cav the other day, so I want to bypass the cable lock for the shifter/ign switch/brake park interlock so I can just put a generic shift ball on it. I thought about just gluing the cable in at the shifter top, but then the lock cylinder won't return back to the key-out position. Any ideas on a quick fix?
