Default single mom needs help again

today when I was in drive my 2002 cavalier starts sputtering when I go over 50 and then even though I slow down she keeps sputtering. It did this about 3 months ago but stopped the next time I drove it. It almost feels like when my Jeep needed an O2 sensor. What should I get checked

Thanks so much
Lisa

Yeah check the simple things first like old dog said. Might be some bad gas to.

could be an o2 sensor, could be the EGR. If it stopped doing it last time, it sounds like the strainer in the fuel tank that keeps large debris from entering the line. In short, bad gas.
