That engine is dead you are wasting money trying to fix it. It has been overheated too many times. The head is famous for cracking. You must remove it and have it checked by machine shop. Also gas in the oil is not doing the bearings and favors. For the money you will spend you would be much better off buying a used engine.

actually, believe it or not, i pulled the head off and carefully inspected it, and checked it with a level very carefully, and to my surprise, it wasn't warped or cracked at all. im very happy about this. the head gasket blew in 3 spots though. i will be putting it all back 2gether in the morning , so hopefully she fires up and purrs like a kitten lol.

I realize this gives you a certain sense of purpose. But, chances are, that's $87 you're not going to see again. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but it sure sounds like a money pit from here on out.

You can not see the crack. A machine shop must pressure test it.

either way, repair is finished. few tweaks here and there, but car is running like a dream. i was very worried when i first fired her up, and smoke was coming out the manifold, but it went away in minutes, and didn't come back. temp. stays in the mid range, and heater actually works lol. and the cars seems to have more power then i remember. either way, i really appreciate all the help.
