Z24 Problems

Z24 Problems
I just got a '96 Z24 and it runs great...only thing is that it will go into 1st-4th fine, but when I try to go into 5th it winds real high and won't go into gear. Got it checked out and tranny is fine. I was thinking that maybe it was the syncronizers. Not sure would love some help. Thanks

um
the synchros are in the tranny
so u need to rebuild that sucker
its not to hard to do ur self if u have the right tools
if u dont have the right tools
take it somewhere
but yeah most likely the synchros
but check the linkage first
