I have a 1970 chevelle ss 396. Motor matches vin and it's a 350 hp but the rear end has a 10 bolt cover. It has all the ss package but I'm not sure about the rear end. Does the 1970 chevelel ss 396 350 hp come factory with a 10 bolt rear end? Also when I look up the vin # everything comes back to a Malibu. Does anyone have info on this. Thanks

 

I always thought they came with a 12 bolt with a 396. I bet somebody sold it and stuck a 10 bolt in.
