Default how to track a 13 # vin for a 66 chevelle
had a 66 chevelle ss in 1968. would like to know its present whereabouts . Hard to track with 13# vin

I would guess you could get that from the department of motor vehicles for a small fee now.

You probably can't. Most states drop inactive VINs from their computer systems after a period of time, and the only records kept are stolen and reported salvaged.
