The system has been bled twice, Rear drum brakes have been adjusted(front has Disk brakes) Boost has been checked (holds pressure), check valve Ok. Push rod adjusted. New master cylinder. Bench bled the master cylinder checked out the proportioning valve(combination) , No leaks, Clear fluid. I put on the brakes to stop and the peddle goes down slowly to almost totally to the floor. I'm going to double check the new master cylinder tomorrow . Any thoughts on this any suggestions. Thanks everyone.

 

If you don't have any external leaks, it's an internal leak. Yes you posted new MC, but that dosen't always mean good. I'd look back at that.

Is the proportioning valve external? Watch the fluid level in the MC while operating the brakes as you normally would, it might tell you if the fluid is shifting around.

 

when bleeding the rear...did you have good fluid flow out the bleeder or limited flow?

Shifting around ? what will I be looking for. The combination valve is right below the MC

 

Is the fluid flowing to/from either chamber? I'd suggest it could be the proportioning valve.
