Default brake fluid and amount of
i have a 1985 c20 3/4ton and need brake fluid but dont know how much or what type

Welcome from Florida. Fill the master cylinder to the fill line or to the top. Dot 3 brake fluid was used in your truck when new so that is what is recommended.
