Default No spark, engine turns over on C10 with 454 bigblock engine

Hoping that someone out there has some knowledge or ideas on what has happened with our 1985 C10 with a 1987 454 big block electronic fuel injection engine.

It was starting fine for years, sitting in the shed. We are finally getting to restoring and repainting it and now it suddenly won't start. One of the fuel tanks (passenger side US/drivers side Australia) has been replaced.

The engine turns over fine but there is no spark. It won't start.

Fuel pump is working, and fuel gets delivered up to the fuel body.

No fuel is being injected into the motor and there is no spark to the spark plugs.

We have put new ignition module ECM, new coil and cleaned the points in the distributor cap and rotor button.

Spark plugs haven't been changed. Spark plug leads are good.

We have checked the fuse box and no fuses are blown. All dash lights work and light up.

No idea as to what has happened.

Any ideas please??????
We are located in Australia so getting hold of some parts can be interesting ...................

Probably the pickup coil. You'd be best off trying to find a replacement distributor.

You can replace the pickup coil, but it is a real pain.

It's been 30 years since I did that, just access the job, and good luck! If it is the coil, you'll know it when you remove it the mica insulation will be in bad shape.
