Default 07 Chevy Cobalt P062F Code

I am having trouble getting rid of a code...P062F which is long term memory in the pcm. Which I change from a vehicle that was sending no codes. But after installing and reprogramming I am still getting the same code.

Welcome to the forum...
Does the suspect PCM work in the donor vehicle without the error?
If so I would suspect a wiring or voltage problem to the PCM... might want to check all fuses and PCM connections...

Yes the donor came out of a vehicle that had no codes. Checking the wiring and all grounds associated. Thanx

But if you put yours in the other car does it work okay?
And if you put the borrowed one back in the other car does it work?
Trying to identify if your vehicle is taking the PCM out, if they both work in the other vehicle then you have a wiring issue most likely

Checked all grounds and the old pcm is definitely bad I believe because it is giving off a cpk code and memory failure. Could the internal EEPROM be an issue?
