Hello All!

I have a 2006 Cobalt with stock radio. I'd love to get a stereo system with AUX capabilities.

I went on Crutchfield for an aftermarket stereo and they said I'd have to buy and install 2 adapters (so I could keep my information center) and in total it'd cost over $250. I'm willing to do this if there is no cheaper option.

I was wondering if it's possible to buy a 2008 Cobalt stereo and install it in my 2006 Cobalt. I'm 99% sure they have different hookups but they must have adapter cords for that, right?

I guess I'm just in need of opinions and stories of how those before me have done it. Thanks!!
