Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Adding Factory Remote Start

I have a 2009 Cobalt LT with remote locks,

Any one know if I can add a factory remote Start (Kit)

I came across this Kit but not sure if it is what I need

2-Way Advanced Remote Start - For Use on Vehicles with Keyless Entry (AU0), and 4-Speed Auto Transmission (MN5)

Part # 19213691 $ 250.00

Thanks

Dave

you CANNOT complete this installation yourself. The 2-way version has some installation involved that you can do yourself, but the programming must be done at the dealership. They need a code from the kit that you buy and have software released from Techline. Without that code, it is useless.
the one-way version, has no installation involved, it is all programming, that is done by the dealer.
