Hello all and thanks in advance for any help.

I am having trouble codes p2431 and p2432 on my cobalt. I have done some research and see that this has to do with a secondary air injection system. However i am unable to really find any info about what to do to fix this problem.

Firstly i know it has to do with emissions and im not trying to kill the environment but does this do anything bad to the vehicle if not fixed immeadiately? I read somewhere that i could have cold weather start issues and that would be bad since its Dec and i live in Wisconsin lol.

Secondly is this something a guy with only average automotive skills can tackle? Or is this the dreaded "take it in" problem?
Is it an easy fix? i.e. plug and play part? or are there 15 different things that could actually be the problem?
