Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

lou i had the same problem with my 05 however the fob did lock and unlock the doors. neither lock switch worked on the doors. i took the switches out and took them apart. they are pretty simple. inside of them you will see a small round brass colored disc that makes contact with the circuit board when pushed. take a pocket knife or small screwdriver and scratch up both surfaces that make contact and you should be good to go. if your fob is not working maybe a problem with that.

I got a similar problem with my 07, the mirror switch won't move the driver's side mirror in, or the passenger side mirror out, but the other positions work fine. That could also be a bad contact. I think the problem is when you open the doors in the rain or snow, no matter how careful you are water and/or dirt manage to get into the switches.
