driver info center and aftermarket radio

does anyone know of a way of replacing the radio while keeping the d.i.c. in the dash? like and interface of some sort? i want to do a double din so the metra part wont work

buy the metra part, and find a clever way of disassembling the screen and mounting it in the dash somewhere
