Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Original Continental Contact AS tires

What's your opinion on the Cobalt's OE tires, the Contact AS all-season?

The tread looks like it would perform pretty well in rain and snow but all the reviews I've seen say it's a lousy tire. Anyone have any first-hand information you could share?

Thanks.

They're "ok". When it is dry they're fine. They're a bit disappointing in the rain. The snow was alright.

The tires suck. I got 12000 miles out of my originals. I complained and they replaced them and gave me half credit towards new ones. I went with a cheaper generic brand and have had great luck.
