Cobalt This sporty compact was faced with the difficult job of replacing the popular Cavalier, but whether the base model, or the supercharged SS is chosen, is has made for a great replacement.

Default Parasitic power drain, Cool SER/PAR

On my 2005 Cobalt LS, I have a parasitic power drain that happens unless I remove the relay plugged into the Cool SER/PAR slot in the fuse box under the hood. This is a 2.2 L and from what I have read online there is not supposed to be a relay in that slot for this model.

Does anyone know what is on that circuit that could be causing the drain?

Also is it true what I read online, that 2.2L Cobalt LS models usually do not have a relay in the Cool SER/PAR location in the fuse box?

The relay in question is the one circled in red.
