Default Question about alarm on my 09 Cobalt

Ok so I lost my keys, and they might be locked in my car.
My question is if I call AAA and have them slimjim my car or whatever to unlock it, and my keys are NOT in there, how long is my alarm going to go off for? My neighbors are pretty picky about stuff like that.

Have you exhausted all other outlets for getting your keys? I looked through your owners manual and it says that during a full alarm activiation it stays on for 30 seconds. After you get your vehicle open and you are able to check for yourself I would suggest going to section 2 page 17. This page has all the timing for the full blown alarm going off. I hope that helps you and if it does happen that your neighbors aren't too annoyed with you.

Roadside Assistance would be another good place to go. They could either open up the vehicle for you or possibly tow the vehicle to your dealership to get a key cut if need be. I hope that helps you. Keep us updated on how things go for you. Thank you.
