I really don't know a whole lot about cars, but I'm trying to get rid of a 2008 chevy colorado engine & tranny with only 30k miles on it, and I want to put together a list of all the other vehicles that can use these. Does anybody know where I can do this? I've been searching the internet for the last few hours and can't seem to get anywhere with it.

I think your best net would be to go down to your local GM dealer and have them tell you. Give them the last 8 digits of the vin that the motor and tranny came out of and they should be able to give you a reference

 

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately the guy I received the motor/tranny from scrapped the cab, I do have the bed though, would that be of any help maybe?

Not really. But either way the dealer will be able to tell you which vehicle models that the engine and trans will fit just by the year and by you telling them which size motor it is. 3.7, etc.
