Default 2018 Negative battery terminal

My current negative battery terminal correded and will not come off. My only solution is to cut the wire and install a new connector. For my new connector does it need to be the same one or can it be one of the generic ones that you can get anywhere?
I ask because on the current connector theres a second grounding wire attached and on a new generic one I wouldn't know where to put it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I attached an image of what the current connector sort of looks like. The nut on the left is where the extra grounding wire goes.

Welcome from Florida. You can use a generic terminal or get the exact one that you currently have. The extra wire can be connected anywhere there is a bolt or even to the same place you connect the main cable.
