My wife got me a Sony CDX GT56UI radio for my 2005 Colorado to replace the factory install that has been in there. I got the old radio out and disconnected fine but the wiring harness does not match up with the new radio. The new radio has a wiring harness with it but not sure which wires go with which on the old and new. Any where that would show a guide or is there a connector or something?

There is a gm adaptor for new after market head units, It plugs into the factory connector but you must solder or crimp the wires going to the connector yourself. if the radio comes with its own connector on its wiring harness, cut the connector off and solder/crimp wires as instructed. If the wires are not labled on the head unit check the owners manual for the head unit, it should tell you what wires are what. The wires on the gm adaptor are labled and come with instructions so its not very hard at all. This si the addaptor you need. i have a chevy 2005 colorodo that the abs light comes on only when the road is wet when it is dry it does not come is it a short in the wiring doing this or somthing else
