Default Transmission slipping

I have a 2006 Colorado with 150,000 miles on it and the other day the transmission started slipping. I’m assuming I’m going to need a rebuild or a new one. Any ideas how much that **** cost? Just a rough estimate. I would really like to keep the truck since it has been really good to me and this is the first major issue I have had. Truck still looks brand new.

I have heard people swear that this Lucas oil additive (LUCAS LUC10009 24 Ounce Transmission Fix 24 Oz, works to prevent slippage), I have never tried it so I don't know if it will help..For $10 bucks, who knows if it will work but it has lots of good reviews on Amazon. com.,

Usually, about $2500 to 3500 depending on freight and labor, would be reasonable.
