I have an '08 Colorado and after turning off of truck and removing the key, the radio stays on until the passenger side, rear door is opened. No other door openings will shut it off. Anyone ever seen this before?

yep...bad door switch. does the dome light work with the door switch?

 

Nope. When I open the doors the dome light doesn't come on. The only door that seems to shut off the radio is the right rear. So are you saying I have three bad door switches?

I'll do some more deliberate troubleshooting this weekend to make sure that I didn't miss another door working.

 

Yep, bad door switch. I took the one from the right, rear door and traded it with the driver door. Went on rockauto.com and purchased 2 new ones for $5 each.

 

Bad door switches. Might as well replace all of them at once since if 3 of them went bad, I bet that on is on the way out too
