Default Radio whines louder as RPMs rise WEIRD

hey guys on my 2010 tahoe randomly the other day this started happening. weather i am listening to the radio, cd or ipod. all the sudden a strange buzz will come on. as i drive the buzz turns to a wistle and gets louder with the engine rpms it sound like a supercharger. if i turn the radio off it goes away. but sometimes it happens even with the radio off. i dont get how it wistles louder relative to the engine rpms.. its weird i have never ran into a problem like this. radio is stock

just like a tach its picking up the ignition noise... I would suspect a grounding issue or a problem with the radio... begin a 2010 I would get it to the dealer if you still have any warranty left....

have a similar problem with my 05. Have not found the source yet. Does it come from all of your speakers, just one side, just one speaker? The more you can isolate the problem the easier it will be to fix( and/or for others to help.)

If you are under warranty though - take it in.......
