took it to the dealer 2x so far, they say they can't find anything wrong!! well now have to go back because the fan runs loud(hi-speed)even when the car is cold. Popped the hood and saw smoke coming from the radiator area, but it smelled like an electrical smell ( wires maybe?) it is now past the warranty about 40k, but the first time we took it in it was well under. If this was a known issue shouldn't they fix it at no charge? Taking it in to the dealer Monday. Pray for us !!

Clay, make sure they check the antifreee level. My best friend had one of these cars with the same problem, and it was a coolant leak. The temperature gauge would read normal even tho it was very low on coolant, fans would run all the time, no heat from the HVAC

My 2012 cruze was doing the same. I kept loosing coolant, and my fant was running loud. My car overheated. The water pump needed to be replaced. I think there may be some sort of bulletin or something about it.
