Exclamation 2017 Cruze LT 1.4T code p1101

I have a 2017 Cruze LT 1.4T with 60k miles. I've had code p1101 for 3 weeks now & I can't get rid of it. I've replaced the MAF sensor & it stayed off for half a day, otherwise, when I reset it, it comes back on within a few minutes of driving it. All the suggestions say that I replace the MAF sensor and/or the valve cover but the valve cover they talk about replacing is the plastic one that has the PCV built into it & mine has the aluminum valve cover. I'm very perplexed with this & frustrated! Any help would be appreciated as this is my first thread on this forum. Thank you!
