6-spd manual transmission rough gear changes
My car is a 2011 cruze aprox 20 000 km. Had it for about 3 months now, this would be my third car with a manual transmission. When I am driving my car after sitting for a while for the first fifteen minutes, the car has very rough gear shifts. Loud enough that I can hear them with the windows up and radio on. I have tried shifting at low rpm roughly 2000, and keeping a concious effort to keep the clutch pedal fully pressed when shifting. Anyone else have similar issues?
One possible sign of a bad transmission solenoid is when your vehicle has trouble shifting into drive or reverse. Normally, when you start your car or truck, you're able to shift into drive or reverse right away. With a bad transmission solenoid, the vehicle could have a delay of a few seconds, or even take several minutes to warm up and operate properly. During this delay, the vehicle will act similar to how it behaves in neutral. It won't stay in park, and when you press the gas pedal, the vehicle will make an engine revving noise but not move.
Finally took the car in turns out I need a new manual transmission.... Only had the car for about 5 months and already my trunk leaked, both my mirrors went, and now this... Looking like great investment!
the worst car I have ever owned, this was my first and last chevy. I got same problem with transmission and bastards @ stealers won't do it under warranty. Want £3k + VAT to replace it. I wish I had never bought this piece of crap

So Gm put that new transmission in, pretty much made things worse... Now they are saying that there could be a problem with my fly wheel. So they are going to pull the transmission again. Was having problems with my starter grinding also, they said the two could be related. Did a little bit of research and apparently the previous owner had the clutch replaced sometime before 12 000 km. Getting pretty fustrated.. that means this transmission has been taken out three times in 27 000km(current km) The service at the dealership has been pretty good though, cant complain there.

I thought the warranty on these cars was power train 4 years and up to 160 000 km, if they are saying it is wear and tear I would seriously talk to customer service. Shop foreman at the place I went to said this was a common issue with the standards.
