Default a/c off due to high engine temperature

My display was reading a/c off due to high engine temperature while driving to work today and my temperature gauge shut off and won't work. I made an appointment to get it checked out but the next availability is 3 days from now and I was wondering if it's safe to drive home.

Default Same here

i am having the same problem. Sounds like this is a very common issue around 55,000 miles. I have a 2015 Chevy Cruze last week while running the air conditioning i had the same alert pop up and the car still runs fine but this morning i got a stabilitrack and traction control service alert come on. If this problem is this common it has to be a manufacturer problem. They need to do a recall on whatever is causing it!
