Default engine oil top up

Hi everybody,

I have a two (2) month old 1.8l cruze. I noticed that the engine oil level has dropped that in that span of two (2) months, with 2,500 kms. distance travelled, I have already added one fourth of a liter. Have anyone of you experienced this? I checked if there are visible leakages but found none. Waiting for your thoughts on this.

It's likely that the oil is being absorbed by the engine parts whether it be by the seals or the metal. It is likely that you have a leak however. Because your vehicle is so new, have your VIN number ready and PM our GM representative on the forum (username: Chevrolet Customer Service) and ask what he thinks you should do regarding this problem and he can probably help you with the things you consult the dealership about.
