I Can't Get My 2016 Cruze LT 1.4 Turbo Top Dead Center Help Please
My wife over heated our Cruze. I have it tore down and have the head in a machine shop. Well I was trying to get everything else ready. I turned the crank pulley clockwise until number 1 and 4 was up but when I do the timing mark on the crank pulley is at about 8 O Clock way past the timing mark. I have turned the motor many times to see if the timing mark would line up, but every time the 1 and 4 is up the round hole in the pulley is always at about 8 O Clock.
So what am I doing wrong? Please help...
ok the first pic is with number 2 & 3 is up and as you can see the timing mark is right. I purchased and timing kit tool set and the round tool goes in place when 2 & 3 is up.
When 1 & 4 is up you can see where the timing mark is at about 8 O Clock I posted pics of them also.
