Default Loud squealing sounds after hard break

We just recently had to replace the turbo on my 2014 Chevy Cruz Ltz due to it going out from an over accelerating. Now to explain on the over accelerating it was a choice of either get hit by a semi coming off a ramp that was speeding or hit the breaks and get hit by the diesel truck behind us. We took the choice of accelerating. Fast forwards we replaced the turbo everything worked fine the car was running great but on the expressway someone was cutting everyone off and they pulled out infront of us so we did a hard break. Now we have a loud squealing sounds. Does anyone know what this could be? We are thinking maybe something shifted and hit something, or a seal broke if anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated. I’d rather not spend $1000s of dollars at a shop when I have a family full of mechanics and we just need to pin point the problem

Welcome from Florida. Does it squeal all the time or only when you push the brake pedal? Does the squeal get faster when you speed up? Does it come front the front or rear?

It’s all the time and it’s all from the front. We already checked the brakes and it’s not those.

So it's from the motor? Does the sound change frequency as the motor speed changes?? Does it do it at idle or only certain speeds???

It almost sounds like a cracked seal. And the squeal doesn’t change it’s the same consist sound no matter if it’s idle or accelerating. We haven’t really drove it in weeks since this happened but are getting pretty desperate for our second vehicle back lol

It could also be a vacuum leak. Take a spray bottle and fill it with soapy water and spray it on all gasket surfaces and vacuum hoses and listen for a change in the noise or the liquid being sucked in.
