I bought my 2011 Cruze right after they came out. I have had nothing but problems with it after driving it for six months. After having about four different recalls fixed, my car has started using coolant like it is going out of style. I took it to a local garage where they ran the engine for 2 hours after I refilled the coolant and couldn't seem to find a problem. 2 weeks later, my car was out of coolant AGAIN. There is no apparent leak under the car and the garage said they cannot find anything wrong with it. It has been a few weeks without having to add coolant (knock on wood) but now, when I accelerate my car doesn't want to go into gear. This is the worst car I have ever owned. I was impressed with it in the beginning, but am slowly realizing that I may have made a bad decision when buying the car. Obviously I am not the only one in this boat.

 

Have they used a pressure tester on the cooling system?
